Cameron Jacotine
Managing Director
Cameron is the Managing Director at JMD Engineering and has over 15 years of experience in the mining and resources sector. He brings extensive expertise in multi-disciplinary engineering design and project delivery, with experience managing complex projects from feasibility through to handover. Cam oversees JMD’s operational functions across its Bunbury and Perth offices and remote client sites, with a practical, customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
Tobin Powell
Mechanical Engineering Team Lead
Tobin is the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead at JMD Engineering and has more than 20 years of experience across the mining and minerals processing sectors. He brings extensive expertise in design and construct projects, including both brownfield and greenfield developments, with experience spanning feasibility, construction, commissioning and handover. Tobin has worked across regional and remote Australia and brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to delivering technically challenging engineering projects.
Jed Yu
Structural Engineering Team Lead
Jed is the Structural Team Lead at JMD Engineering and has more than 10 years of experience with the company. A Civil and Construction Engineering graduate from Curtin University, he has progressed through structural design and senior engineering roles. Jed brings extensive mining-sector experience across processing plants, conveyors, crushing circuits and asset integrity, supported by strong capabilities in steel structures and structural analysis.
Shane Mowday
Design Drafting Team Lead
Shane is the Design Drafting Team Lead at JMD Engineering, where he has worked since 2014. With more than 15 years of post-trade experience, he brings extensive expertise in complex 3D design, detailed drafting and design-team coordination across mining, minerals and industrial projects. His background in fabrication, welding and structural drafting supports practical, cost-effective and constructible engineering outcomes.
